We have uploaded a new video:
“Traditional Japanese Festivals of Mikawa”
This long-format video introduces the traditional festivals held in the Mikawa region (and partly in Owari) along with Goroh Saitoh’s paintings inspired by these events.
The video includes chapters, so we recommend watching the sections that interest you most.
At the end, you will also find explanations of several large-scale works (size 200号).
* This video is currently being shown at Goroh Saitoh’s solo exhibition “The Art of Matsuri: Capturing the Beauty of Japan’s Festivals” at OSSAM Gallery in Brooklyn, New York (September 13–28, 2025).
